Kroger - 3/25-3/13

Not much going on at Kroger this week. Their Mega sale ended last week.

A few things:

milk: $1.99/gallon
Ground chuck: $1.99/lb
Bunch broccoli: $0.87 each
Kraft cheese: 3 for $5. An ok price, BUT...when you buy 3 Kraft 2% natural cheese products, you get a coupon for $2 off your next shopping order, so it's like getting it 3 for $3, which is a great price for cheese.
Quaker Cap'n Crunch and Life cereal: priced at 4/$10, but when you buy 4, you instantly get $4 off, making it 4/$6. The 1-4 Red Plum had coupons for $0.50 off Cap'n Crunch (which will double) and $1.00 off 2 Life cereals. If you have multiples of these coupons, you could get a really good price on these cereals. (Kroger, unlike Randalls, will double or triple up to 3 like coupons.)
Whole chicken: $0.99/lb (and when I was there yesterday, I found Tyson All Natural whole chicken reduced for quick sale at $0.99/lb)
Chicken leg quarters: $0.99/lb
Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, Grands, Crescent rolls (all 4-5 ct), or pizza crust: 4/$5, but you instantly get $1 off when you buy 4, making it 4/$4. You can find coupons for $0.25 off Crescent rolls (which triple), $0.30 off Cinnamon rolls (which also triple), $0.40 off pizza crust (doubles), and there are various Grands coupons out there. Almost every Sunday, there are coupons for Pillsbury products. So... you buy the Pillsbury for next to nothing, AND when you buy 5, you get a coupon for $3.00 off your next shopping trip, so you end up making money on the deal.
Tropicana OJ, 64 oz: $2.39 each, but the 1-4 RP had a coupon for $1 off 2, so: $2.39*2 - $1 =
$3.78 for two 64 oz OJ (or, 1 gallon OJ). A decent price.
