Not much going on at Walgreens, either. In addition to the Register Rewards, Walgreens also has another program, their Easy Saver catalog. It's a booklet that has monthly coupons & mail-in rebates that they offer. This week they have a coupon in their weekly ad for Hunt's tomato sauce at $0.39 a can (you need this coupon to get the price, but, don't worry, there should be plenty of ads at the front of the store. You only need one coupon and it will discount them all.). There is also a mail-in rebate for $5 when you buy $10 worth of Con-Agra foods (Hunt's being one those). So, buy 11 cans of Hunt's tomato sauce (the original price is $0.99) for a total original price of $10.89 (which is all you need to get the rebate). The coupon should take $0.60 off each can, making your total $4.29. Go here to claim your rebate. In about a month, you should get your $5 rebate ($5.50 if you opt to have it put onto a Walgreens gift card).
Just a couple of notes about the above deal:
-You do not have to buy all 11 in one transaction, so if they only have a few, then buy what you can. You can enter multiple receipts when you claim your rebate.
-The coupon states "limit 3" on the ad. The coupon will discount more than 3 when scanned, and I've never had a problem, but just be aware of that, in case you get a cashier who's a jerk.
Walgreens also has trial sizes (2 oz) of Johnson's body care in a display kind of around the make-up area. The 2-22 RP had coupons for $1 off Johnson's body care product. Some coupons will say "not valid on trial sizes." This one does not, therefore, you can get these for free.
